Programme:

1 day
Arrival to Marrakech.
We pick you up from the airport and take to the riad. Accommodation is in small, stylish, typical moroccan hotels in medina. All day is for visiting the city, shopping, drinking coffee outside, tasting Morrocan food and enjoy the stay.

2 day
After breakfast in riad we start journey to the desert. We are heading towards the south-west part of Sahara, passing through Atlas mountains. The way will take us all day – approximately 7 hours with  a lunch break.
Early evening we reach Zagora – the city where we are going to spent the night. We sleep in a camping or in a guest house, nearby the horses.  Supper is prepared by our chief.

3 day
After taking breakfast we get on horses.  We are heading south, passing through berber villages, rocky desert, river beds. We make 1 hour lunch break in oasis (the lunch is prepared by our chief, packed and taken by us to the travelling bag). It is calm day with one or two counters, a little of trot and a  lot of walking.  Our first camp is near the mountains, under the palm trees.

4 day
We continue our trip to the south.  We enter more deserted place where only nomad people live  with their animals. In the second part of the day the big sandy dunes of desert appears. We will make a camp among them.

5 day
We continue walking on the dunes – carefully and slowly to make it easier for horses.  Today we will reach M’hamid – the last village on the South in Morocco and we will pass the gate of Sahara in the mountains. We are not going to make camp that day – we will sleep in big nomad tents on camping in M’hamid.

6 day
It is the last day on horseback.  We leave the desert behind and reach Zagora again.  The day is full of galloping.
In afternoon we can go to visit the city, make some shopping in the souk.

7 day
Returning to Marrakesh – spending the night there.

Day 8
Departures

Almost every night we make fire and spent evening together drinking wine. In the camp we sleep under the tents. We have also special tent as a bathroom – we can take shower every day (but still we have camp conditions.... we have hot water and a tent but that’s all).
All meals are prepared by our chief every day  - we eat fresh vegetables, fruits, for dinner we have tagin (slow-cooked meat with vegetables), for lunch  - rice or pasta with vegetables, eggs, fish.

Almost every day we spend in saddle up to 5 hours. After 2,5 hours of riding we make 1 hour lunch break.  We gallop every day.
