Location 1: Ollantaytambo, Apu Pinkuylluna
Short Vision Quest: overnight
Purpose: seeking personal power, wisdom and humilty
This is a personal challenge. The peak is claimed to be the most powerfull one in the Andes mountain chain.
Station 1:
Watchtower over Tunupa's head
Tunupa or Wiracocha is a very important figure in the Incan Mythology, a pilgrim preacher of knowledge. Tunupa was apparently tall, stern and poorly dressed and he wore a bonnet like a crown on his head and carried an impressive staff as a sign of his authority. It is believed that Tunupa turned to stone in Ollantaytambo.
This is suitable for the first time vision quest partecipants.
Station 2: Watchtower on the top of the mountain
This is a high station located nearly on the top of the mountain.
High and accelatated energy, great source of inspiration and vision for one's path.
Procedure:
* fast all day
* arrival to Ollantaytambo in early afteroon
* offering to Tunupa
* pilgrimage walk into the Apu Pinkuylluna
* medicine ceremony
* spend a night awake and alone at the mountain
The guide will pick you up at the sunrise.
If you can't stand the night you can come back to the camp/hotel.
What to bring:
* personal power objects
* warm clothes
* 2 good blankets
* a torch
When: when you are ready
Location 2: Calca, Apu Pitusiray and Cancan Lake
24h Vision Quest
Purpose: purification, seeking personal power and connection with the Apus and the Cosmos
Procedure:
* pilgrimage ascend to Apu Pitusiray (over 3h)
* purification bath in the QanQan lake
* despacho ceremony at night
* Willka Ceremony (option 1)
* All night group Sacred Fire San Pedro Ceremony (option 2)
* spend a night awake and alone at the mountain (optional)
Recommended items to bring:
* personal power objects
* warm clothes
* 2 good blankets
* a torch
* suncream
* hat for sun protecion
* hat, gloves, scarf for rain and cold
* swimming costume
* towel
When: Full Moon of April, and September to December

To apply to participate please send a note about yourself, your spiritual practice to-date and the motivation behind doing this retreat. Also enclose a photo of yourself where your eyes are visible and/or link your facebook account.
The shaman will decide whether he is interested in inviting you to the retreat and you will have a personal interview with the shaman via skype before you join the retreat. For this interview the shaman charges $150 in advance.
